Treffry Viaduct
Located in the magnificent Luxulyan Valley, this 90-foot viaduct was built between 1839 and 1842 by the land’s owner, Joseph Thomas Treffry.
As Cornwall’s first major engineering structure of its kind, it is now a protected ancient site about four miles north of St. Austell.
Parking is limited, but this is a beautiful place for a lunch break while hiking the Luxulyan Tramway Trail.
